LinkedIn have launched a new feature allowing you to follow companies on the professional networking website. It's a great addition in what could be perceived in the same principal as liking Facebook Fan Pages and following on Twitter.
With LinkedIn being very business/company orientated, and many users using the platform for keeping up to date with company news, latest job vacancies and looking for companies to hire for various work, this is likely to see a lot of businesses making more of an effort to promote their company page and prove extremely useful for many users.
The new feature provides two ways of following a company, either by visiting the companies page and selecting the 'Follow company' link as seen in the above screenshot of Google's company page or you can follow from a personal profile page by hovering over the company and seeing the option.
We would be interested to hear your thoughts on this new feature, who are you going to be following on LinkedIn? Let us know in the comments.
